Overview
EasyFlip (“EasyFlip,” “we,” “us,” or “the app”) is a cross-listing tool for resellers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, which third parties process it, where it is stored, and the choices you have — including how to export your data and permanently delete your account. We collect only what the product needs to function and we do not sell your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data, all tied to features you choose to use:
- Account information. Your email address and username when you register, and a securely hashed (scrypt) version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Listing content. The text you create or edit — titles, descriptions, categories, brands, sizes, conditions, prices, and tags — and the photos you upload for each item.
- Marketplace credentials. If you connect a marketplace (Depop, Grailed, Poshmark, Mercari, eBay, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Vestiaire Collective), the credentials or session data needed to publish on your behalf, stored encrypted (see Section 4).
- Sales & analytics you record. Sale prices, costs, fees, and item performance figures you enter or import for your own profit tracking.
- Operational data. Basic activity events (logins, publishes, imports) used to power the in-app activity monitor and to diagnose errors.
2. AI Processing of Your Photos and Text
Several EasyFlip features send your content to third-party AI providers to generate listing copy and metadata. We send only the content required for the requested feature, and only when you trigger it.
- Smart-List vision (photos). When you use Smart-List to auto-fill a listing from a photo, the photo is transmitted to Google Gemini (the gemini-flash vision model) to identify the item and suggest a title, category, brand, condition, and description. The photo is sent for that single request and is not used by us to build advertising profiles.
- Listing-text optimization. When you optimize a listing for a marketplace, your listing text may be sent to one of the configured AI providers — by default the keyless Pollinations service, with Hugging Face and Anthropic (Claude) as alternative providers — to rewrite and tailor the copy and hashtags per platform.
Each provider processes the submitted content under its own terms and privacy policy. We recommend you do not include sensitive personal information in listing photos or descriptions. AI output is generated by automated models and may be inaccurate — see our Terms regarding AI-generated content.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create your account and authenticate your sessions.
- To generate, optimize, and publish your listings across the marketplaces you connect.
- To track sales, costs, and analytics you choose to record.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your listing photos or text to train our own models.
4. Marketplace Credentials & Encryption
Credentials and session tokens for connected marketplaces are encrypted at rest using AES-256 before being stored. They are decrypted only transiently, in memory, to perform an action you requested (such as publishing a listing). You can disconnect a marketplace at any time from Settings, which removes its stored credentials.
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
Application data is stored in a Neon (serverless Postgres) database, isolated to EasyFlip’s own schema. Data in transit is protected with TLS. Uploaded listing photos are stored to support your listings and are sent to the AI providers described above only when you invoke a feature that requires them.
6. Data Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the service:
- AI providers — Google Gemini, Pollinations, Hugging Face, and Anthropic, for the features described in Section 2.
- Marketplaces you connect — we send the listing content you ask us to publish to those platforms on your behalf.
- Infrastructure providers — such as our database and hosting providers, acting as processors on our behalf.
- Legal — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
7. Export Your Data
You can export your listings and sales data to CSV from within the app at any time, so you keep a portable copy of your records.
8. Deleting Your Account
You can permanently delete your account from within the app at any time. Account deletion immediately removes your user record and all of your active login sessions, and is irreversible. If you cannot access the in-app option, email us at support@aispec.tech from your registered address and we will process the deletion.
We retain certain records only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures including password hashing, encrypted credential storage, TLS in transit, and session-token hashing at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to issues.
10. Children’s Privacy
EasyFlip is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app.
